Here in Lombok, schools constructed from recycled plastic blocks are transforming communities while showcasing CSR projects in action. As the founder of Our Goals, I have the privilege of witnessing this impact first-hand. The classrooms in the recycled block schools have become a source of local pride and hope for students and families, illuminating a brighter future empowered by education.
Beyond the reading and writing lessons, these children are learning to become stewards of our shared world. The schools stand as a testament to our collective potential when we act with compassion through corporate CSR consulting projects and social impact.

Voices of Gratitude and Hope
To better understand the impact of these schools, we reached out to two parents, each with a child attending Paud Mulia Hati, one of the schools built by Our Goals.
Misnah, a parent from an Our Goals sustainable school shared her excitement about the new school facilities, emphasizing how the English program has benefited her child. She appreciates the opportunity it provides for her son to play, learn, and grow in a supportive environment. Misnah believes that learning English will open doors for her son in the future and is actively involved in school activities to support this belief. If given the chance, she would love to add a large playground to make the school even more inviting for children.

Baiq echoed these sentiments, praising the school for its cleanliness, the kindness of its teachers, and the overall nurturing atmosphere. She is thankful to the benefactors who made the school a reality and recognizes the significance of English in her son’s education, particularly given North Lombok’s growing status as a tourist destination. Baiq Siti is also involved in the school community and wishes for enhancements to the children’s playground to create a more comfortable and spacious environment for play.

A Brighter Future
The stories of Misnah and Baiq highlight, the profound impact of Our Goals’ initiatives in Lombok. By providing sustainable schools and introducing English education early on, we are not only enriching children’s lives but also empowering communities to dream of a better future. The enthusiasm and active participation of parents in school activities demonstrate a collective effort toward achieving this dream.
As we continue to share the journey of these schools, it’s clear that the initiative is more than just about building structures; it’s about building futures. The gratitude of the parents, the eagerness of the students to learn, and the dedication of educators and benefactors alike are creating hope and transformation in Lombok.
Through sustainable practices and the gift of language, we are not just teaching children; we are preparing them to become global citizens capable of crossing borders and bridging cultures. Together, we are laying the foundation for a future where education is the key to unlocking limitless potential.
